a book of 3D boobs

Yes, boys and lesbians. The day of 3D porn book is here.

3DD is 86 pages of artistic boob shots (all natural) taken by a NY based photographer and breast enthusiast, Henry Hargreaves.  The book comes with a free pair of 3D plastic glasses, and in case you get too excited and break them, there is another extra pair of cardboard aviator included on the inside cover.

Whether you think it's artistic or provocative (or both) is up to you.  But as noted in the book, "beautiful images of boobs in all shapes and sizes are a wonderful celebration of real women in all their glory."  And let's be honest- Looking and talking about boobs is just fun for anyone.  I was entirely amused by 3D boobs, as I was flipping through the pages at my friend's house.

This book is only available online currently, but they ship to pretty much everywhere in the world.  ORDER HERE
3DD Book  $29.99

mamamama ototototo

who the hell made this video???  It got me dying laughing because alot of the traditions taught in this video are simply wrong.  Please don't try any of this at Japanese restaurants.  They will get freaked out by your strange behavior.

kalae all day

Kalae is a cool chick I just became FB friends with. (twisting my hair)

I like her style.  She's like the new Bahamadia... (??)  Reminds me of nuyorican poetry or 'intelligent' hiphop (aka backpack).  It's nice to see someone still keeping this kind of hiphop alive.

This track's good especially when you want to take a break from those rick ross, lil weezy, gucci sound.

while at it.

martha cooper

I recently learned about a photojournalist Martha Cooper who documented the NY graffiti scene of the 1970s and '80s.  While she was working at New York Post, she began taking photos of children in her New York city neighborhood on her return home. One day she met a young kid named Edwin who helped expose her to some of the graffiti around her neighborhood.  Edwin helped to explain to her that Graffiti is an art form and that each artist was actually writing his/her nickname. Edwin then proceeded to tell of the Graffiti King and asked if she would like to meet him.  This is when Martha met the legendary Dondi.  He was the first one who allowed her to accompany him; while Dondi was tagging she would take photos of his art.  In the 1980s she put together a book of photos illustrating the Graffiti subculture called Subway Art and Hip Hop Files.  Here are some of the pictures:

While I was browsing through her photo books, this picture below came across, and it felt strangely familiar...  No, not because this was like my childhood...  I thought maybe I just saw this picture somewhere.

But then, my mystery was finally solved by surprise today.  As I was leaving work, I looked up and gasped...  It's the wall right in front of my work in SoHo.

Now that's pretty cool, I thought.  I was always wondering who these kids were...

art for japan

there are tons of artists out there that are using their creations to help Japan.  Here are just some of them:

And if you are an artist who wants to make a difference, you can donate your work too.

mr. brain

Since I completely fell off the face of the earth and went to Italy last year, I finally got to see the Banksy documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop.  Film is about Thierry Guetta (aka Mr. Brainwash), a French amateur film maker/ a graffiti-artist groupie who eventually turned one of the hottest street artists himself after taking Banksy's career advice.  Even though Mr. Brainwash actually exists and his artworks have been sold for millions of dollars (his website http://www.mrbrainwash.com/)  , I am one of many people who believes that the film is a satire, and Theirry has been created to dupe the art world and mock the burgeoning art-factory system.  Meanwhile, the film contains footage of Banksy, Shephard Fairey, Invader and many of the world's most infamous graffiti artists at work too.  Bravo, Banksy.

donate in style

Japan is currently suffering from an appalling natural disaster, with many people rushing to help in any way possible.  Britney Spears apparently donated like $7 mil.  (had no idea she still has that kind of money.)  Gaga raised a quarter of a mil in 2 days w/ Lady Gaga Japan Earthquake Relief Wristband .  Salvation Army released this 'Army for Japan' T-shirt, in which 100% of the proceeds of the sales of this shirt will go toward The Salvation Army's relief efforts in Japan.  This design totally screams Japan lovers by the way.

I heard that Paris shop Colette also has joined in the efforts and teamed up with some designers to produce a 'Save Japan' range, with all profits going to help support rescue efforts in the country.
"Save Japan" iPhone 4 case $23.63
So I checked out their online shop today, and got this Keith Haring "Save Japan" iPhone 4 Case .  As you can see, it's simple white iPhone case with a classic Haring design in the back.  I've been using my iPhone for months w/out cover just because I couldn't find any design that I like, so I'm psyched about this.  And more importantly, 100% of profits goes to the Japanese Red Cross.

My heart goes out to all the victims in Japan.  I will be thinking about them every time I use my phone, which is 24/7.

Nate Dogg (August 19, 1969 – March 15, 2011)

A friend of mine told me that Nate Dogg passed away last night.  So I decided to dig up all his tracks and just remembered about this one.  RIP.
