true crime thriller

My friend invited me to the screening for a dope movie called "The Imposter".  It's a documentary centered on a 23 year old Frenchman w/ dark hair and dark eyes who convinces a grieving Texas family that he is their 16-year-old blond-haired, blue-eyed son who went missing for about 4 years... don't want to kill it too much, but it's one of boldest acts of con artistry in my recent memory.  True story.

weekend movie pick

Fritz the Cat   - A 1972 film based on the comic strip by Robert Crumb.  The film was the first animated feature film to receive an X rating in the US. 

The film is a satire about race relations, the free love movement and politics in the 60s.... and the main  character is a NYU student... and Cal Tjader's music is on the soundtrack...  right up my alley. 

all that and a bag of chips!

In Flagranti recently came out with "a new late night, dirty disco, party jam called 'All That And A Bag of Chips'.  The video is an ode to their city of NY and awesome fashion."  So dope.

Scratch Massive

I did not care what Kobe or Black Eyed Peas had to say about him, but the movie got a lot of great footage of Bruce and I fell in love with him all over again.  He 'da man.
